Mother's Day is just around the corner, and York Jewellers is chuffed to bits to announce a heartwarming competition that combines creativity, family, and the chance to win a brilliant prize for Mum!

We're inviting all talented young artists aged 5-15 to participate in our Mother's Day Colouring-In and Jewellery Design Competition. It's a smashing opportunity for your children to showcase their artistic skills and design a unique piece of jewellery, all whilst having the chance to win an AUD$2500 York Jewellers voucher for their deserving mum!

How it Works:

It's easy! We want your kids to get creative. They can:

  • Download & Colour-In: Download our exclusive jewellery drawings below and let your children's imaginations run wild with colour!
  • Design from Scratch: Encourage your child to design their own personalised, one-of-a-kind jewellery piece just for Mum. It could be a necklace, bracelet, earrings, or a ring – anything they dream up!

There Are Two Ways to Enter:

  • Create: Have your child create their masterpiece by colouring in our drawings below or designing their piece.

  • Originality and Creativity: How unique and imaginative is the design?
  • Practicality: How well does the design translate into a wearable piece of jewellery?
  • Relevance to Mother's Day: Does the piece reflect love, appreciation, and beauty?

York Jewellers MOTHER’S DAY (‘Competition’) Terms and Conditions of Entry 

1) Information on how to enter the Competition forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Participation in this Competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.

2) This Competition is being run at 51a/585 High St, Penrith NSW 2750, Westfield Shopping Centre (the 'Centre') and Shop SP019 Warriewood Square, 12 Jacksons Rd, Warriewood NSW 2102 during the Promotional Period.

3) The Competition period commences at 10 am on Sunday, April 13, 2025, and concludes at 9am on Friday, May 9th, 2025 (‘Promotional Period’). The winners will be drawn at random at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 9th, 2025 and announced on the York Jewellers website and social channels. 


4) The promoter of this Competition is York Jewellers Pty Ltd (ABN 35 002 672 906)

 
5) Officers, employees, and immediate families of officers and employees of the Promoter, its associated companies and contractors, retailers at the Centre, and any other agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. 


6) The competition is open to entrants Australian residents 5-15 years of age, they must have an appropriate adult complete the entry form.  


7) Number of entries: One entry per person 


8) Participants may enter the Competition by visiting https://www.yorkjewellers.com.au. OR visiting the Penrith or Warriewood store in person. Entrants are required to:

  1. Download & Colour-In: Download our exclusive jewellery drawings from our website, and let your children's imaginations run wild with colour! 

  2. Or Design from Scratch: Encourage your child to design their own personalised, one-of-a-kind jewellery piece just for Mum. It could be a necklace, bracelet, earrings, or a ring – anything they dream up!

  4. Submit the design by one of two ways:

  • Online: Upload your entry through our online submission form on this competition page.  

  1. Participants will be added to our database and receive future promotional emails.

 

9) The prize consists of one prize of a York Jewellers gift voucher to the value of $2,500 which can be used online or in our Penrith or Warriewood store. 


10) The Competition winner will be judged on originality and creativity, practicality and relevance to Mother’s Day from the total number of entries into the Mother’s Day Competition on Friday, May 9th, 2025. The Prize winner has until Midday Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 5:00 pm to claim the prize. 


11) The winner must claim their prize either from their local store, 51a/585 High St, Penrith NSW 2750, Westfield Shopping Centre or Shop SP019 Warriewood Square,12 Jacksons Rd, Warriewood NSW 2102, during the centre opening hours or via phone or email. The winner of the Prize will be notified by telephone and announced via Social Media and on the York Jewellers website within two hours of being determined/selected. If the winner cannot adhere to the terms and conditions stated, they will be void, and another winner will be chosen. 

12) Unless otherwise specified, prizes or any unused portion of a prize are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. 


13) The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is not by these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. An incomplete, indecipherable, illegible or non-compliant entry with these terms and conditions is invalid and will not be accepted or considered. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 


14) If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition to the full extent permitted by law and subject to any approval or directions from a regulatory authority. 


15) The Promoter's decision is final, and no other correspondence will be entered.

 
16) It is a condition of entry that the entrant consents to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner of a Prize (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products and services, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters in the Centre(s) or otherwise. 


17) By entering the Competition, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Competition or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable. 


18) Authorised under the Community Gaming Act 2018, Community Gaming Regulation 2020 and the Australian Privacy, Spam Act and Do Not Call Register Act Statement: The Promoter collects the entrants’ personal information to assist it in promoting the Centre and the retailers of the Centre and to process the competition entries. By entering the competition, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also expressly consents to:
(a) the Promoter (or any of its related companies) contacting an entrant by any means (including by electronic message or by telephone) to let the entrant know about goods, services or promotions which the Promoter considers may be of interest to the entrant;
(b) the Promoter (or any of its related companies) disclosing the entrants’ personal information to other persons or entities who may:
(i) assist the Promoter in promoting the Centre and the retailers of the Centre or running competitions (including by sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant on the Promoter’s behalf); or
(ii) use that information, in any media, for their marketing, promotional or publicity purposes (and each entrant expressly consents to such persons or entities contacting the entrant by electronic message or by telephone about goods or services), without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant. The express consent referred to in this Statement continues until the withdrawal of that consent is effective (as set out under applicable law). Entrants’ personal information may also be disclosed to State Lottery agencies, and the winners’ names may be published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. All entrant's details will be stored at the Promoter's offices. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office.
