About The Role
We're opening our doors at 22 Riley St, and we want the first face our customers see to be a great one. As a Concierge, you'll set the tone the moment someone walks in - warm, welcoming, and ready to help them feel right at home before they've even reached the counter.
This is a casual role running now through the end of December, perfect for someone who loves people, thrives in a retail environment, and wants to be part of a brand-new store from the very beginning.
What You'll Do
- Greet every client with warmth and make them feel genuinely welcome from the moment they arrive
- Create a five-star first impression of the store and the York Jewellers experience
- Help clients find their way by directing them to the right person, product, or service
- Support the retail team on the floor, especially during busy periods
- Make beverages for clients
- Keep the store presentation polished and inviting throughout the day
- Stay energetic and engaged on your feet for extended periods, including during peak Christmas trade

About The Role
York Jewellers is seeking a skilled and experienced Luxury Goods / Jewellery sales professional to join our team. You will play a crucial customer-facing role, guiding clients in selecting the perfect jewellery piece.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide expert customer consultation and jewellery sales for ready-to-purchase and bespoke jewellery.
- Assist jewellery designers with bookings for custom jewellery pieces
- Book in and comprehensively assess jewellery repairs
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand and exceed customer needs and expectations
- Evaluate jewellery quality and pricing
- Ensure strict quality control and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury goods and/or jewellery sales and manufacturing
- Comprehensive knowledge of:
- Gemstones
- Precious metals
- Jewellery design principles
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
