Role Responsibilities
- Provide expert customer consultation and jewellery sales for ready-to-purchase and bespoke jewellery.
- Assist jewellery designers with bookings for custom jewellery pieces
- Book in and comprehensively assess jewellery repairs
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand and exceed customer needs and expectations
- Evaluate jewellery quality and pricing
- Ensure strict quality control and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury goods and/or jewellery sales and manufacturing

This is a client-facing role suited to someone who genuinely loves jewellery, enjoys building connections with clients, and thrives in sales.
You will guide clients through both ready-to-wear collections and custom design enquiries, ensuring every customer receives a personalised and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities

About The Role

York Jewellers is on the hunt for a Social Media Assistant to help us create scroll-stopping content and grow our online presence across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Facebook.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating fun, aesthetic, on-brand content (reels, posts, stories, TikToks)
- Writing captions that don’t sound like a robot
- Helping film and edit short-form video content
- Jumping on trends (when they make sense for the brand)
- Engaging with our community – comments, DMs
- Brainstorming fresh ideas for launches, promos, and everyday content
- Managing paid ad campaigns via Meta.
You’re probably a good fit if you:
- Have experience running or helping manage social accounts (personal, business, or uni projects welcome) – bonus points for managing paid campaigns
- Know your way around Instagram, Facebook Pinterest & TikTok
- Are comfy using tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar
- Have a good eye for aesthetics and storytelling
- Can write engaging, error-free copy
- Are organised, reliable, and happy working independently
- Love fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle content.
