York Jewellers are on the lookout for two Jewellery Consultants to join our expanding sales team.


Under the guidance of our dedicated jewellery professionals, you’ll develop best-in-class sales skills, learn how to provide superior customer service, and get to share in some of our clients’ most joyous moments. 

Whether it be weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, or another occasion, the Penrith community relies on our beautiful and captivating jewellery to make it special. As such, you’ll need to share a love for meeting new people, understanding client needs, and creating lasting relationships. 


Our ideal candidates will have:

  •  A passion for engaging with customers
  • Retail experience (jewellery retail experience ideal but not essential as training will be provided)
  • Motivation and drive
  • A team player attitude
  • Flexibility to work across weekends as we trade 7 days a week (and Thursday evenings)

The Assistant Manager is accountable for achieving store budgets and maintaining a high level of organisation within the store. The Assistant Manager is to be professional and presented professionally in order to be an effective ambassador and set the standard for the team. It is essential that the Assistant Manager ensures the York Jewellers selling technique is consistently adhered to by all staff throughout the store to ensure we set the standard of exceptional
customer service.

The following are essential for this position:

  • Demonstrated store management experience
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service consistently
  • Ability to manage and motivate staff for high performance
  • Demonstrated experience in effective stock management
  • Demonstrated experience in merchandising, sales and marketing
  • Flexibility, a “can do” attitude and willingness to learn
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks

    York Jewellers are currently seeking a driven and skilled bench jeweller to join our team of five jewellers in our state of the art, in-house manufacturing workshop.
    Requirements for Manufacturing Jeweller:

    • Minimum - 5 years experience in high volume jewellery manufacturing
    • Must be motivated and punctual
    • Capable of managing your own workflow in a high-volume business
    • An open mind and the willingness to learn and share new jewellery manufacturing skills
    • Attention to detail and the drive to manufacture high quality jewellery
    • Work well in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
    • Willingness to learn and understand the York Jewellers product and brand.
