We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thank you to those that helped us celebrate on Saturday, November 2, 2024, when York Jewellers marked a remarkable 50-year milestone at a magical celebration at the Log Cabin in Penrith.
The event, set against the stunning Nepean River, was more than just a business anniversary—it was a heartfelt tribute to the Ely family’s legacy of love, dedication, and community.
This milestone is a rare achievement, but what truly set the evening apart was the sense of family that has always been at the heart of York Jewellers!
For Rob and Helen Ely, this celebration also signified the start of their well-earned retirement and the passing of the torch to their son, Douglas Ely, who is now the Managing Director and Owner.
From the start, Rob and Helen have built a family run business that embodies love—not just for their craft, but for their team and the community they serve. Their four sons grew up learning the ropes, from customer service to community engagement, creating an atmosphere where everyone feels like family.
The love, gratitude and congratulations felt within the room made the event truly magical.
Saturday night’s celebration was a beautiful night with the York Jewellers team, friends, loyal customers, and business partners all coming together to honour the Ely family’s commitment.
