How do I enter?
Anyone who spends $300 or more within the promotional period — from 2nd of January 2019 to 7:00pm (AEDT) on the 31st of January 2019 — will be deemed eligible for registration into the $25,000 cash prize, live draw event.
Eligibility will be verified according to purchases made in-store and online within the promotional period.
Once eligibility requirements have been met, you will be automatically registered to take part in the event. No need to fill any forms, we will do the work for you.
How will I know if I've been registered?
Upon automatic registration you will receive communication from us* to notify you and to confirm your registration via:
- An SMS from 'York'
- An email
* If you haven’t previously provided York Jewellers with neither a mobile number nor an email address, we unfortunately will not be able to get in touch with you. If you are aware of having purchased $300 or more during the promotional period please contact us, so we can verify your eligibility and confirm registration status.
Please be aware that registration alone does not warrant participation.
You must be present at the live event when the initial draw of 3 names takes place.
When will prize be drawn?
At 7:30pm (AEDT) on the 31st of January 2019, the York Jewellers Penrith store will conduct a live announcement of three (3) names from our list of eligible entrants.
Three (3) successful entrants will be asked to stand at our storefront for our secondary draw. There they will open a jewellery box containing a 1 in 100 chance to reveal a grand prize of $25,000.
The competition draw will commence in-store on Thursday 31st of January at 7:30pm (AEDT) sharp. All entrants wishing to take part must be present.
Should someone's name be called who is not present in-store, they will be deemed ineligible, and a replacement name will be drawn.
What do I win?
Primary Draw
On the 31st of January 2019: one lucky entrant will choose one (1) envelope from one hundred (100) envelopes with a chance of selecting the winning envelope containing $25,000 cash.
A consolation prize of $2500 York Cash will be given to the primary drawer to spend in-store at York Jewellers.
Secondary Draw
On the 31st of January 2019: if you are one (1) of the three (3) people selected to take part in the draw and are not successful in taking part in the primary draw, a consolation prize of $300 York Cash will be given to spend in-store at York Jewellers.
