TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 

York Jewellers Gift Card Giveaway (‘Competition’) 

“WIN YOUR SHARE OF $1000”

1. York Jewellers Gift Card Giveaway (“the Competition”) is conducted by York Jewellers Pty Ltd ABN 35 002 672 906 of shop 51A/585 High St, Penrith NSW 2750 trading as York Jewellers and will be referred to as “the Promoter” herein.
2. The Competition commences at 9am on Friday 22nd May 2020 and concludes at 3pm Sunday 31st May 2020. 
3. Entry in the Competition is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years of age or over.  
4. Participants may enter the Competition by one of two methods:

• Instagram: Like the competition post and follow @yorkjewellers. Share a photo or ‘story’ on their Instagram profile showcasing a photo of either a piece of jewellery purchased from York Jewellers that is from their personal collection OR a photo of a piece of York Jewellers jewellery sourced from www.yorkjewellers.com.au. Saved images and screenshots are both permitted. Tell us what Memorable Moment you would celebrate with it and why. Tag the @yorkjewellers Instagram account in the entry post or story and use the hashtag #45yearsofyork
• Facebook: Like the competition post and like the York Jewellers Facebook page. Share a photo in the comment section of the competition post showcasing a photo of either a piece of jewellery purchased from York Jewellers that is from their personal collection OR a photo of a piece of York Jewellers jewellery sourced from www.yorkjewellers.com.au. Saved images and screenshots are both permitted. Tell us what Memorable Moment you would celebrate with it and why and use the hashtag #45yearsofyork
• PLEASE NOTE: As entries will not be visible to the Promoter if the entrant’s social media accounts are on ‘private’, for an entry to be included in the Competition, a Participant’s social media accounts must not be registered as ‘private’. 

1. Each prize consists of the following: a $100 York Jewellers gift - valid for 6 months
2. There are ten (10) prizes to be won.
3. The winner of the Competition will be selected by the Promoter by 5pm Sunday 31st May 2020.
4. The winner of the Prize will be announced via the Promoter’s Social Media accounts within two hours of being determined/selected. The Prize winner will be mentioned / tagged in the announcement posts on Social media if possible.
5. The Prize winner has until 5pm Monday 1st June 2020 to contact the Promoter via direct message to claim their prize.  Failing to do so means an alternative winner will be selected.
6. The winners will be selected based on their creative efforts.
7. This is a ‘game of skill’ The Promoter, in their discretion, reserves the right to substitute the item for another to equal value and/or specification.
8. The prizes for the Competition are not transferable, divisible or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for money.  
9. Illegible, late, incomplete, incorrect, or entries that can no longer be seen will be deemed invalid and therefore ineligible to enter the Promotion or win the prize. Any dispute relating to whether entries have been received or not, will be determined by the Promoter, whose decision is final. Incomplete, inaccurate, underage, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoters accept no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoters reserve the right to disqualify and/or delete any posts which do not comply with these terms and conditions, the Facebook or Instagram terms of use or which are illegal or offensive, in the opinion of the Promoter.
10. The Promoter reserve the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. An entry that is incomplete, indecipherable, illegible or non-compliant with these terms and conditions is invalid and will not be accepted or considered. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 
11. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition to the full extent permitted by law and subject to any approval or directions from a regulatory authority. 
12. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no other correspondence will be entered into. 
13. All Federal and State laws and regulations apply to the Competition.
14. It is a condition of entry that the entrant consents to the Promoter re-posting / sharing their entries on social media during the competition period and using the entrant’s name, social media handles and entry image submitted in the event they are a winner of the Prize in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of the Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products and services, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters. 
15. By entering the Competition, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoters or that the Promoters may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Competition or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.
